Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day: May 2 event has been cancelled

The Household Hazardous Waste Day Collection, scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020 has been cancelled. That collection day, which takes place twice a year, is for residents of Champlain Township, the Town of Hawkesbury and the Township of East Hawkesbury, all of which are part of the Hawkesbury Recycling Committee. The event usually takes place at the Hawkesbury Wastewater Treatment plant, where cars can drive-through and drop off hazardous waste.

Note that the next collection event scheduled for October 3, 2020 has not been cancelled.
