Do you have a child who is of preschool age? Why not participate in a Literacy Walk at the Champlain Library and listen to the story “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. “One Sunday morning, a caterpillar hatches from an egg. He is known as the Very Hungry Caterpillar, who loves eating, and so he begins to look for some food.” What happens next? Join us during Story Time from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, March 24 at the library to find out. The program is offered in conjunction with the EarlyON Child and Family Centres of Ontario. There will be a snack and other activities. All kids under the age of 5 and their caregivers are invited to participate in this free program. Don’t forget to mark this day on your calendar. You won’t want to miss it. For more information please call the Champlain Library at 613-678-2216 or visit www.bc-cl.ca.
