City of Lachute closes municipal buildings, suspends all municipal activities, events

The City of Lachute announced this afternoon that all municipal buildings will be closed as of today.

The Ecocentre and the jean-Marc Belzile Library will be closed and all municipal activities will be suspended, including use of the municipal pool at the Kevin-Low-Pierre-Pagé Arena.

The municipality is reminding everyone that the province has banned gathering at which more than 250 people will assemble and is reminding residents to avoid organizing or attending unnecessary events.

Information and many municipal services can be accessed online. The municipality notes that it is still accessible by calling 1-450-562-3781.
