Ready, Set, March!  Looking for something for your kids to do during March Break?  The Champlain Library is the perfect March Break destination for learning, reading, and fun. Let us spark your child’s curiosity with the programs that are offered.

The fun begins on Tuesday March 17 at 10 am during Story Time where children aged 5 years and under can listen to stories, do a craft and have a snack of juice and crackers.  After Story Time they are encouraged to choose books that can be read together at home.

The Dream Catchers craft will take place on Tuesday, March 17 at 3 pm.  The craft session is open to children 5 years and older.  Dream catchers were created to capture all dreams and filter out the bad ones.

The Teen Book club is a highlight for teens 13 years and older who meet each third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.  Snacks are provided and new members are always welcome!  Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 18.

On Thursday March 19 children 7 years and older can build a cat castle out of cardboard boxes for their furry feline friends.  The fun begins at 3 pm and you don’t need to own a cat to make one.

March Break wouldn’t be complete without an Afternoon at the Movies.  Bring a friend and watch the movie “Frozen 2” at 1 pm on Friday, March 20.  Popcorn and juice will be served.  The activity is open for children of all ages.

Don’t delay!  Register your kids today by calling the Champlain Library at 613-678-2216 or by email at [email protected].  All children under the age of ten must be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling.
