The City of Clarence-Rockland has announced that Alexandra Riel is its new Economic Development Officer. She will assume her new duties on March 30.
Riel has solid management experience for the non-for-profit, sports and recreation sectors and knows the City of Clarence-Rockland very well as she worked at the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region for 10 years, notably as General Manager, Eastern Region. In that position, she developed strategic and organization plans, maintained membership targets and met with many businesses and community organizations.
“I am very excited for this new opportunity that I am being presented with. I welcome the challenges this position will bring and I look forward to helping to grow and develop the economic landscape of this vibrant community,” Riel says.
