To The Editor,
Thank you for your thought provoking editorial on the local employment situation. You close by asking which organizations should be working on it. I believe that it falls to each and every one of us to do what we can do to improve the attractiveness of our communities for leisure, employment and tourism. Your previous article (posted on social media) provoked much of the same stuff we have heard so many times before. Hawkesbury people don’t want to work, this is wrong, that is wrong. A little team-playing by all of us, doing what we can to promote rather than berate and belittle our chosen home would go a long way to bringing about the change we need.
