Students from École Secondaire Catholique Régional de Hawkesbury (ESCRH) received an award recently from the Canadian Cancer Society.
The students are all members of the school’s leadership committee, which plays a big role in organizing school activities and initiatives; including their relay for life event where groups of students walk on the track and field from noon to midnight in order to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
The award was given to the school for raising $100,000 over the last three years for cancer research.
