Dalkeith…Plus! is a “library and more,” and its volunteers have a wealth of ideas to encourage use of this independent library, and to keep the community informed and engaged. This month, November becomes KNOWvember!

Every Wednesday in November, Dalkeith…Plus hosts speaker presentations on a variety of topics.

On November 6, Elwood Quinn talks about rare breeds of farm animals. On November 13, Barbara Lehtiniemi speaks about her experience in Mensa Canada. November 20 brings Mark and Lisa Henderson, who talk about planning ahead for end-of-life events. And KNOWvember wraps up on the 27th with a talk on military reenactments.

All KNOWvember speaker events are open to the public and are free to attend. Doors open at 6:30 each evening and talks start at 7:00 pm sharp. Refreshments will be served.

For more information, phone 613 874 2337, or visit during library hours (Wed, Thurs, Fri 10 to 4, and Sat 10 to 1). Dalkeith…Plus is located at 1835 County Road 23, just north of the stop sign in Dalkeith.
