You’ve asked and we’ve listened.  The Champlain Library is holding a launch party for the new Tech Help Hub on Monday, September 9 at 2 p.m. at the library.  During a recent survey, many adults have inquired about obtaining computer help in the library.  The funds to establish the Tech Help Hub workshops were available from the township’s insurance provider, Frank Cowan Company, and local insurance broker, Théoret & Martel, through the Frank Cowan Company Home Town Program.

The Tech Help Hub will be held every Monday at 2 p.m. with workshops running every first and third Mondays and drop-in sessions on the second and last Mondays of the month.  Workshops will include basic computer skills, email and social networking, connecting to Wi-Fi, downloading e-books and online services etc.  Bring your own device (BYOD) and let us answer your questions!
