The TD Summer Reading Club at the Champlain Library is still going strong.  This summer, kids have been encouraged to explore the stories and science of nature through adventure and play during the weekly activities.

A wrap-up event of the Summer Reading Club will take place on Wednesday, August 14 from 10:30 am to noon at the Mill Street Park in Vankleek Hill. Library staff are very excited to have Ray’s Reptiles giving a presentation this year featuring snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, amphibians and invertebrates.  There will also be scavenger hunts, games and participation prizes.  Bring your own picnic and bathing suits for after the party.

It’s not too late to get in on the fun!  To participate, kids must be registered in the Summer Reading Club and be a member of the Champlain Library.
