SECTION 34 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Champlain
proposes to pass a By-Law to close, stop up and sell the road(s) listed
ROAD CLOSING AND SALE: All and singular that certain parcel or tract of land
and premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Champlain, in the
County of Prescott and being composed of all that portion of the original road
allowance described as follows:
Part of Property Identifier Number (PIN) 54159-0062(LT), being Parcel
Block G-1, Section M-29, formerly in the Town of Vankleek Hill, now in
the Township of Champlain, in the County of Prescott, designated as
Block G on Reference Plan M-29.
The proposed By-Law and plan describing that/those part(s) of the road allowance
to be closed and sold are available for inspection in the office of the
Clerk, Champlain Township, 948 Pleasant Corner Road East, Vankleek Hill, Ontario,
during normal office hours.
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Champlain will consider
the aforesaid By-Law at a Public Meeting on August 6, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
and will hear in person or by his counsel, Solicitor or agent, any person who
applies to be heard and:
(a) who claims that his land will be prejudicially affected by the By-Law; and
(b) who wishes to object to the actions proposed in the By-Law.
Any person desiring to be heard is asked to contact the Clerk in writing on or
before August 1, 2019.
