Drug warrants executived in Bourget, Alfred and Plantagenet Township

On June 12, 2019, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers with the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), and officers with the Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a vehicle stop and executed three simultaneous Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants in Bourget and Alfred-Plantagenet, Ontario.

During the execution of those warrants, vehicle stop and investigative seizures, investigators seized a quantity of suspected Methamphetamine, Cocaine, MDMA (Ecstasy), Psilocybin, Oxycodone, Cannabis, Cannabis Resin, Xanax with approximately $65,000 worth of street value, $350 currency and a 2006 Lincoln Navigator.

A 31-year-old Alfred-Plantagenet man was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act with:

  • Trafficking of a Schedule 1 Substance (Methamphetamine) (2 counts)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Oxycodone).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA – Ecstasy).
  • Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Xanax).
  • Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Psilocybin).

The accused is further charged under the Cannabis Act with:

  • Did Unlawfully Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling It.

The accused has been held in police custody and will attend a bail hearing on June 13, 2019 in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal, Ontario.

 

A 40-year-old woman from Clarence-Rockland was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act with:

  • Trafficking of a Schedule 1 Substance (Methamphetamine) (6 counts)
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine) (2 counts).

The accused is further charged under the Cannabis Act with:

  • Did Unlawfully Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling It (2 counts)

The accused has been held in police custody and will attend a bail hearing on June 13, 2019 in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal, Ontario.

 

A 33-year-old from Alfred-Plantagenet woman  was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Oxycodone).
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA – Ecstasy).
  • Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Xanax).
  • Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Psilocybin).

The accused is further charged under the Cannabis Act with:

  • Possession of Illicit Cannabis.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on July 17, 2019.
