Repair work will begin soon on a landmark bridge in Grenville.

The Ministère des Transports du Québec owns the wooden bridge over the Grenville Canal.  Work to replace the deck timbers will begin on April 23 and continue for approximately four weeks.

The bridge will remain open during the work but will be one lane in each direction with a limited width of 2.8 metres.

The bridge connects the park and residential areas along the canal and Ottawa River to the rest of the village of Grenville.
