On March 12, 2019, Messieurs Yves Paquette and Yvon Doiron presented a cheque in the amount of $2269.50 to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation. The two members of the Hawkesbury Legion organized a Washer Toss to collect funds for the cardiology department at the HGH. A “sold out” crowd of sixty-five people played in the washer toss held on February 23rd. The amount collected at the event was $1269.50 to which the Legion generously contributed another 1000$. The HGH Foundation would like to thank Messieurs Paquette and Doiron, their partners and the Legion for their continued support.
The HGH Foundation’s mission is to raise funds in order to improve the care and services offered to the community by the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital.
