March Break is just around the corner and there are lots of fun activities planned all week long at the SDG Library.

From March 11 to 15, the Library will be alive with the spirit of March Break, offering a variety of free, family-friendly programs. Activities range from maker programs using LEGO Mindstorms, Ozobots, Cubelets and the green screen, to family gaming and movie nights. There will also be special programs such as a birthday party for Dr. Seuss, “Minute to Win It” competitions and a visit from Montreal’s Captain Catalyst (chemistry show).

“Staff have put together a great assortment of programs so there is something for everyone.” said Susan Wallwork, Communications & Marketing Librarian. “The Library is the perfect destination this March Break for unique and entertaining activities for your children or the whole family.”

Staff-led programs are offered at specific times, while self-directed activities usually run throughout branch open hours. A lot of the programs are drop in, but some do require pre-registration. Make sure to contact the branch to be certain of what’s happening where! A complete list of March Break activities is available on the Library’s website.
