An event to celebrate women March 8 in Rockland

Oh, yes, it’s ladies night! And you’ll feel alright, promises the Centre Entrepreneurship Prescott-Russell, which is presenting an evening to celebrated Women’s Day together. That means that men and women in business are welcome at the Friday, March 8 event taking place at Club Powers, 954 Giroux Street in Rockland.

From 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., a reception and networking opportunity is scheduled. At 5:45 p.m., the partners who made the event possible will be introduced. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Dany Gagnon will give a presentation on wine-tasting. Gagnon has more than 38 years of experience as a wine professional and this presentation will include wine and food pairing with canapés, appetizers and chocolate. Learn about your palate and why you prefer one wine over another.

Keynote speaker Mahée Payment will be speaking from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And the evening will be rounded off by the opportunity to visit with local artisans from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
