A door-to-door food drive will take place on Sunday, November 25 in L’Orignal from noon to 4 p.m. If you will not be home at that time, please leave your non-perishable food items near your front door (identify the bags so that volunteers know they are for pick-up).
Cash donations are also accepted and cheques can be made out to the L’Orignal Food Bank. Charitable donation receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
If you miss the food drive, you can still bring your food donations from November 26 to December 10 here: Ivaco Rolling Mills, École St-Jean-Baptiste, or the L’Orignal Food Bank at 261 Longueuil Street. From December 10 to 17, bring food donations to École St-Jean Baptiste or to Ivaco Rolling Mills.
This “guignolée” is organized by the L’Orignal Volunteer Firefighters Association in partnership with the Knights of Columbus Conseil 6452 Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Need info? Call Francois Bellemare at 613-632-5676.
