Christine Henley is hosting a fundraising event on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Center, at 5000 Center St., Wendover, ON. There is free admission, but donations are appreciated. The goal of the event is to raise funds for the local food bank; organizers hope to raise more than $2,000.
What you will find at this event: Sponsors in Direct Sale and Crafters of every kind getting together to demonstrate and sell their products. You will be able to find anything and everything you are looking for, for any occasion or celebrations you may have.
“This is a fun day of shopping with an even bigger message: People helping people,” says Henley.
Door prizes are part of the event and each prize will contain multiple items provided by each and every one of the vendors. There will also be a BBQ, door bake sale, face painting, photos with Santa and Paint Paint for the kids while parents are shopping.
Heart To Heart Helping Our Communities is a non-profit organization which hosts fundraising events to support local home-based businesses as well as raise funds for different charitable organizations.
The local food bank is located in Riceville, and is known as the L’eglise de Dieu Food Bank, 3839 County Road 16, Riceville, Ontario.
