The Nation Municipality inaugurated the new soccer field of Ste-Rose Park on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018. The Casselman-Nation Soccer & Futsal Club players took part in a skills competition and both the players and the parents got to enjoy pizza and cake.

In the fall of 2017, the seldom used baseball diamond of the Ste-Rose Park was converted into a soccer field able to accommodate U4-U12 players. The objective was for the park to be used more often by the public.

Since June 2018, the Casselman-Nation Soccer & Futsal Club has been playing on the new soccer field on Wednesday nights. This new soccer field is a central location for league games with Hawkesbury and Rockland. The Club currently has 130 youth registered and hopes to have more players next season.

The Nation Municipality would like to thank The Nation Municipality Recreation & Culture Advisory Committee, the municipal Council and the Casselman-Nation Soccer & Futsal Club for contributing to the success of this initiative.
