Lise Thériault, minister of Consumer Protection and Habitation, has announced that a financial aid of $465,000 will be distributed between five Laurentian municipalities as part of the Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ)’s Rénovation Québec (PRQ) program.

In its 2018-2019 budget, the Québec government allotted $25 million to PRQ.

As a program, PRQ is intended to give a municipality the possibility of developing its own residential revitalization program.

The financial aid will be distributed as follows:

To Arundel, $10,000; to Lachute, $220,000; to Prévost, $25,000; to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, $100,000; and to Saint-Jérôme, $110,000.
