The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a report of a suspicious fire that occurred on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at approximately 2:30 a.m. at the back of a residence of Dufferin Street in Hawkesbury.

Items that were kept outside a single home property were intentionally set on fire.

The OPP is interested in speaking to witnesses who would have observed any suspicious activities in the area.
