On January 24, 2018 at approximately 5:40 a.m., members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a deceased male in a single home property near St-Eugene in East-Hawkesbury Township.
A thorough investigation was conducted by the members of the Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Paul Rosato of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB). Ottawa Police Service, OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the Office of the Chief Coroner also assisted.
The result of the investigation and post-mortem has determined no signs of foul play in this death incident.
