(ALEXANDRIA,ON) On March 2, 2018, members of the Community Street Crime Unit, Tactical Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and SD&G OPP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on several residences and one business in the Village of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township.
This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs, weapons, undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
Seven males and two females were arrested during the execution of the warrants.
The investigation continues and further information (names of accused/types of drug and weapons) will be released by the OPP at a later time.
