A “Soirée de Filles” will take place in Hawkesbury on Friday, March 9 at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Soirée de Filles and its main sponsor – the Prescott and Russell Entrepreneurship Centre, showcases local women’s entrepreneurship as part of the “Salon de la Femme” which begins the evening, where more than 40 exhibitors come to present and offer their products and services to more than 200 women expected.
The evening will have the theme “Super Woman”, a live metamorphosis, live band music and more than $5,000 in prizes to be offered to our participants.
The Soirée de Filles has as its mission the pampering of a mother of a child with big physical or mental challenges. This mother may have few resources and needs a break, to enjoy a night out for herself, to receive support from the female community.
Soirée de Filles warmly invites businesswomen, mothers, students, or grandmothers to the evening.
In 2018, 11 more events are scheduled across Quebec and now in Ontario.
