Beaver Swamp Hockey tourney on February 18 in Alexandria

On Sunday, February 18, the Beaver Swamp hockey tournament takes place at Mill Pond in Alexandria. The tournament opens at 8 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., come play on “Rosaire’s Rink of Dreams”. The Beaver Swamp Hockey has renamed the children’s rink in his honour, to remember his devotion as a father, a husband and a mentor to so many. He organized weekly volleyball tournaments and regular tennis matches and coached many young people!

From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., lunch will be served in the main hall.

At 1 p.m., playoffs start and then at 2 p.m., it will be time for the sixth annual Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame Polar Bear Dip.

At 3 p.m., raffle prizes will be drawn and winners will be announced in the main hall.
