On Saturday evening, the Vankleek Hill Jr Cougars hosted the first-place Papineau Vikings. The Vikings were the first to strike with Nicolas Castonguay answering in the first period. Charles Doyon then proceeded to take over the game by scoring a natural hat trick in the second period to take the lead 4-2.  The Vikings tried their best to rally back in the third by scoring another three goals, but more goals by Castonguay and Doyon and finally an empty net goal by Riley Sauve assured the Cougars of a win.  Final score was 7-5 in favor of Vankleek Hill.

Sunday afternoon, the Cougars traveled to Clarence to play the Castors. Clarence led after the first period 2-0. The Cougars were able to get two past the Clarence netminder in the second period on goals by Tyler Dopelhamer and Riley Sauve to tie it up 2-2 after the second, but were unable to get anything going in a penalty filled third period.  Clarence took the win 6-2.
