A man was found dead in an East Hawkesbury residence on January 24. No details have been available from the OPP until this morning (January 26).
The Hawkesbury Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Paul Rosato of the Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are investigating a death incident in East Hawkesbury.
On January 24, 2018 at approximately 5:40 am, members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a deceased male in a single home property near St-Eugene in the East-Hawkesbury Township.
A post mortem has been completed and the cause of death is not being released at this time.
Members of the Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Services (FIS) will be continuing with this investigation, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner. Further information will be provided as it becomes available and deemed appropriate for release.
