Argenteuil’s transportation services are happy to announce that the SkiBus shuttle will be returning Argenteuil for the winter 2018 season. Every Friday night from January 12 to March 9, skiers and snowboarders will have access to convenient transport to ski stations in Morin Heights and Saint-Sauveur.

“My colleagues and I are delighted at the return of Argenteuil SkiBus. This service plays an essential role in the practicing of physical activities for our students, families and elders by proposing easy access to ski centres nearby. The MRC is is proud to put these concrete measures in place, facilitating the adoption of a healthy life-style as is proposed by its strategic planning and family and elder policies,” announced MRC Argenteuil prefect Scott Pearce..

Four boarding points are planned: the first two in Lachute, at l’École polyvalente Lavigne / École secondaire régionale Laurentian as well as the Kevin-Lowe–Pierre-Pagé arena, then to the Gore community centre and the Riddell road intersection in Mille-Isles.

Some new features will be appearing this year: skiers and snowboarders can obtain tickets directly from the bus driver, having first reserved their place with Transport Services. Furthermore, users can subscribe to text message alerts in order to receive real-time news about the shuttle and be notified of any cancellation due to bad weather. In addition to this, the Sommets ski centre in Morin Heights will hold a draw for a regular season pass for winter 2018-2019 among those who used SkiBus in 2018.

To make a reservation for your place onboard, Argenteuil residents must communicate with Transport Services by calling (450) 562 5797 or by visiting the station at 540 Berry Rd. in Lachute. The round trip ticket is available for $7.
