The Hawkesbury Sélects Bantam girls Basketball team won the Phénix tournament in Gatineau in a dominating fashion winning all games, thanks to an explosive offense and a swarming defence. In the Eastern Ontario Basketball league, the team has greatly improved and moved from 17th position in the standings last year to a third-place team this year with a record of seven wins and only one loss at mid-season this year. This much-improved and hard-working team is looking forward to the rest of this basketball season.
