Approximately 450 students from junior kindergarten to Grade 8 participated to the annual Terry Fox Run on September 28. Parents and family members also joined for the event.

“It was a great day! Students ran or walked laps and earned stickers or letters for every lap they finished. Students collecting letters spelled out Terry Fox or Terry Fox Marathon of Hope,” said Vice-Principal, Nichola Bond.

“PCPS Patriots and their community should be very proud. Our goal was $600 and we made $1139! All for the Terry Fox foundation to keep Terry’ s Marathon of Hope going,” said school organizer, Beth MacLeod.

“Two classes at PCPS are reading the novel “Run” which is based on the events of the Marathon of Hope. He lives on in all of us.”
