The body found on the 417 highway near Limoges over the weekend has been identified as a 34-year old woman from Ottawa.
On July 2, about 2:30 in the afternoon, Russell OPP was called to respond to a report of a dead person on the should of the westbound highway.
Police determined the woman pedestrian was hit by a passing car.
In a release, the Russell County OPP Crime Unit said that it has concluded the investigation after foul play was ruled out.
The identity of the deceased is not being released.
