A 15-kilometre walk against childhood cancer is scheduled for Saturday, June 17. This year will mark the 10-year anniversary for the St-Albert walk, which will raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation. Those interested in participating can register and get pledge forms online (cheofoundation.donordrive.com). The walk is being organized by CHEO, St-Albert’s Optimist Club, and Nancy Chicoine. It has a goal of raising $5,000. The walk will begin at 7 a.m., after a warm up at 6:30 a.m., departing from the St-Albert Community Centre.
