To the editor:

I wish to say a public thank you to Father Woodbury who opened the doors of his church hall (Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs) in Grenville to concerned citizens of Grenville sur la Rouge. On very short notice he allowed the people to meet and hear of the proposed mining, the use of a municipal hall having been denied.
Once again citizens of GSLR were left to receive and exchange information on an important situation with little help from their bureaucracy. If not for hard working residents such as Carole Gratton, and the kind soul of Father Woodbury many would be in the dark.  He allowed one and all to enter freely, and as it turned out the room was packed.
Democracy at its finest.
