Police warn of people peering in windows in Alfred area

The Hawkesbury OPP are investigating a number of incidents where unknown people looked into the windows of homes in the Alfred area. The incidents happened at night, and the people were on foot, police say. They ask residents of the area to be “vigilant,” including by locking vehicles and homes, making sure alarms are activated, and letting friends or neighbors know when you will be gone for a few days. Police also encourage residents to report any unusual activities in the area to police by calling 1 888 310 1122.
