On Saturday, December 10, between 2 and 4 p.m., Arbor Gallery will host a fourth edition of its annual fundraiser, ArtScramble. Tickets are $25 and will go on sale Monday, November 28 at Scotiabank in Vankleek Hill and The Review. Each ticket holder is entitled to choose a piece of art which has been generously donated by various artists who have had shows at the gallery this past year, as well as some who are members at large. The works offered include paintings, watercolors, sketches, fabric art, photography, some jewelry and glass works. There will also be a wide variety of tasty finger foods, coffee, tea etc. If you choose to bring a guest, the gallery asks you to be aware that only those holding a ticket will get to choose. And the selection process is part of the fun – when you enter the gallery you’ll receive a numbered ticket, half of which will go into a hat. After about 45 minutes of socializing, eating and looking over the choices, each number will be randomly picked from the hat and you’ll have just a minute or so to scramble up to the wall and take down your chosen piece of art. What a fun way to find a beautiful present to give someone you love, or even yourself!
Tickets can be purchased at Scotiabank in Vankleek Hill and The Review or from any Arbor Gallery board member. Space is limited so buy your ticket early to be sure one is available.

Arbor Gallery and Beau’s host a “pop-up shop event” on Friday, December 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gallery. This is a perfect opportunity to find unique, handmade gifts for the holiday season.
The Annual Holiday Show and Sale, Gifted, will be open until December 18.
