Police investigate after items reported stolen from shed

Sometime between October 10 and 11 police say that an individual(s) broke into a shed located at a property on Marcoux Road, in Alexandria. A number of items were stolen from the shed, including a gasoline water pump; a yellow, Poulan chainsaw and case, with a 46 cc motor and a 20” blade; a yellow and black Yardworks, gas-powered trimmer and a blue and black Mastercraft metal cutter.

Police from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SD&G OPP at 1.888.310.1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-8477 where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
