On Monday, October 17, Quebec’s Ministry of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Electrification will be closing a section of Highway 148, between Avoca Road, in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, and Fasset. The highway will reopen late in the day on Friday, October 21 and will remain open for the weekend. Highway 148 will be closed again from October 24 to October 28, so that repairs can be completed.
The road closure will enable road workers to replace a large culvert. A marked detour via Highway 50 will be in effect throughout the duration of construction. Local traffic will be permitted at all times between Avoca and Fassett, but road users may suffer delays.
