On Saturday, Ronald Beriault was picking up litter and sweeping Vankleek Hill’s Main Street. Beriault said that he knew the Festival of Flavours was happening the next day (Sunday) and said he was proud to live on Main Street and felt that the town should be clean and ready for visitors. When he realized that no clean-up was happening on Saturday, he took it upon himself to hit the street with a broom and some garbage bags. Thanks to a couple of Review readers for sharing this story with us.
