The Avonmore Firefighter’s Association will be hosting their second-annual Chenier Mechanical Avonmore Firefighters’ run on Saturday, October 15. Since last year’s registration exceeded expectations and space is limited, register now at www.AFFRun.ca, or in person at Barkley’s Store in Avonmore, if  you are interested in joining the run. All money raised will be going to the Avonmore Firefighter station. The cost of the run is $30 for the five-kilometer race and $35 for the 10-kilometer run.
