Support for the Alzheimer Society in Chute-à-Blondeau was strong on the morning of Saturday, May 18. About 70 people participated in the Walk for Alzheimer’s which was a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District, which includes Prescott-Russell. The organization assists Alzheimer’s patients and their families. The walk began at the Manoir Carillon retirement residence and followed rue Principale and back to the residence. Many of the participants were residents of Manoir Carillon.
