The school bell will still ring at the same times for students at Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) schools during the 2024-2025 school year.
According to a message sent to parents on Thursday, April 11, the Board of Trustees met on April 10 and received an update on a review of school bell times. Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO), the authority which oversees school bus transportation for the UCDSB and other school boards, plans to discuss any changes in school day hours in October 2024. As a result, there will be no changes to school bell times and hours at UCDSB schools for the upcoming, 2024-2025 school year.
The UCDSB is responsible for Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute, Pleasant Corners Public School, Laggan Public School, Maxville Public School, and Glengarry District High School.
