Vintage Vehicle Experience 

Sunday, July 10 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Cost: $8.50 adult; $6 seniors/youth/students; $21.50 family (two adults and accompanying children); free for children 5 and under.
*Library museum passes are not accepted for this program. 

Explore the rapid design and mechanical advancements made during the earliest years of the automotive era! Chat with car owners and see partially restored, restored, and un-restored vehicles from before 1940. Learn how a Model T was assembled in Ford production plants (1908-1927) with a demonstration from the Canadian Model T Assembly Team. 

Note: As many of the vehicles are owned by community members, the exhibitors may vary throughout the day. This program will run rain or shine, however, in the event of inclement weather, exhibitors and demonstrations may be impacted.

 À la découverte des véhicules d’époque 

Le dimanche 10 juillet, de 10 h à 16 h.
Prix : 8,50 $ par adulte; 6 $ pour aîné, enfant ou étudiant; 21,50 $ par famille (2 adultes accompagnés d’enfants); gratuit pour les enfants de 5 ans ou moins.
* Les laissez-passer de bibliothèque pour le musée ne sont pas valides pour cette activité spéciale. 

Découvrez l’évolution fulgurante des modèles et de la mécanique des premières années de l’ère automobile! Venez discuter avec les exposants et admirer leurs véhicules datant d’avant les années 1940 partiellement restaurés, restaurés et non restaurés. Vous apprendrez comment un Modèle T était assemblé dans les usines de Ford (de 1908 à 1927) grâce à une démonstration de la Canadian Model T Assembly Team (équipe canadienne d’assemblage de Modèles T). 

Remarque : Comme bon nombre des exposants sont de la région, les voitures exposées pourraient changer au cours de la journée. L’événement aura lieu quelle que soit la température, et donc les activités pourraient être réduites (exposants et démonstrations) en cas de mauvais temps.
