Horizons Etc…Etc…
These paintings are a natural progression
from my “Dream Blankets” and
“Onà : Ke / Canoes, etc.” series –
for we are at sea, in unknown waters.
What is on the horizon?
The canoe symbolizes us.
And on the horizon is the future –
socially, politically, environmentally.
I have always painted from the heart and
feel there is hope for us, for Mother Earth –
the Earth that will continue to exist
even after we have gone.
She is beautiful and strong.
I hope you will feel her strength in these works.
