Vankleek Hill Parade of Lights

PRE-PARADE STUFF IS HAPPENING!
STORY TIME
AT CHAMPLAIN LIBRARY AT 94 Main Street, Vankleek Hill
5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The popular “Dashing Through the Snow”
will be read in English and in French.
Children’s Christmas craft!
The library’s Christmas tree will be up and
decorated for the occasion.
Children are welcome to come into the library
to keep warm, listen to stories and do a craft
until the parade starts.
November 29 is also the deadline to bring in your donated books for the Book on Every Bed campaign. The books will be supplied to children whose families are recipients of Christmas baskets from the Vankleek Hill and l’Orignal Food Banks.

the Vankleek Hill Volunteer Firefighters will be handing out
curds at the Christmas Parade!
Always look for 100% Canadian milk when you purchase dairy products!

See Santa from anywhere along the parade route.
The Parade leaves from Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (5814 Hwy. 34) at 7 p.m. sharp. The parade will travel north to Perreault Street, (across from Foodland). It will then travel to Home Avenue where it will turn left. The parade will pass through the subdivision along Home until it reaches Stanley Street, where it will then head south until it reaches Higginson Street. Santa and his elves will then head west on Higginson until they reach the corner of Derby where they will head south toward Main Street. At the corner of Main the parade will turn right and head toward the traffic lights. At the lights it will turn right and return to Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute.
If you are planning to enter a float in the parade, please be at VCI at 6 p.m. on parade night.
Hey Kids!
Santa will be in the
Philip Arber Memorial Garden after the parade
for a visit.
