The Review Talks: Volunteers + Visitors + Events = Responsibilities

May 22, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Volunteers + Visitors + Events = Responsibilities, are you doing the right thing?

Do you represent a not-for-profit organization? Do you volunteer for a not-for-profit organization? Are you aware of the insurance requirements for executive members and overall group insurance? Is additional insurance required for your events? Have you been wondering who’s liable for what?

Come join the conversation with Shawn Martel, Partner/Broker at Theoret & Martel Insurance Brokers.

After graduating from Fanshawe College in business insurance Shawn started working for Aviva Insurance company in 2006 to learn the commercial underwriting side of the business. In 2007 he moved back home to join the family insurance brokerage and in 2008 became part owner. After successfully completing his RIBO license, Shawn continues to gain experience in the industry and also completed the CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) program through the Insurance Institute of Canada. Shawn’s main focus today is to provide his clients with the best products, so they have peace of mind when operating their business or events.
