Spaghetti Dinner

Arks Harvest in Vankleek Hill is hosting a spaghetti dinner on November 12 in partnership with Les Matantes and Vankleek Hill Foodland, to help raise funds to support the elderly in need during the holiday season.
The spaghetti dinner – to be held at the Club d’âge d’or/Golden Age Club, located at 122 Bond Street in Vankleek Hill – will cost $13 – the size of a small produce box from Arks Harvest – and will include garlic bread provided by Foodland. There are three seatings: 4:30-5:30 p.m., 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Take out options are also available.
Each dinner sold for $13 will provide one senior in need with a box of produce and other goodies from Arks Harvest. Several local businesses are also supporting the event. The food-sharing organization has contacted a number of local community groups, including the Vankleek Hill Club d’âge d’or/Golden Age Club, Under Your Roof, and the Hawkesbury Food Bank to provide them a list of clients who are seniors.
Anyone wishing to reserve a spaghetti dinner can contact Arks Harvest at 450-613-5557, or message them through the group’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ArksHarvest.
Arks Harvest is a not-for-profit, food-sharing program located at the Club d’âge d’or/Golden Age Club, 122 Bond St., Vankleek Hill. Their goal is to create a sustainable program that offers fresh, affordable food for everyone, regardless of income level, while working together with the community.
