December 26. The Alfred-Montebello area Christmas bird count
Join members of the Vankleek Hill and district Nature Society (VKHNS), Club de miroise de l’Est ontarien (MiroisEont) and the Club des ornithologues de l’Outaouais (COO) in order to criss-cross one of the shore of this beautiful section of Ottawa river. Two-third of the census circle, with a 25 km radius, are in Ontario around Alfred, Lefaivre, Plantagenet, Treadwell and Curran, the other third located in Québec embraces towns of Fassett, Montebello, Papineauville and Plaisance. Whether it is to explore the field and/or take a count of the birds at your feeders, you are all welcome to this 13th edition.
