An early September tradition in Vankleek Hill returns on Sunday, September 6.

The Festival of Flavours is back. Food vendors and other exhibitors will be set up on Main Street from 10 am to 4 pm as a celebration of the harvest season.

In addition to commonly enjoyed fare at food festivals, there will also be a variety of international items for visitors to enjoy, making it easy to get a taste of the world without going far from home.

The Festival of Flavours is one of the biggest events of the year in Vankleek Hill and is usually a vibrant day filled with delicious food, laughter, and true community spirit. Admission is free, and Main Street will be closed between High Street and Derby Street for the duration of the event.

The Festival of Flavours is presented by Excellent Events. While it is happening, just a very short walking distance away, Art in the Garden will be taking place on the grounds of St. John’s Anglican Church. The outdoor art show has returned to Vankleek Hill and will feature the work of more than 40 artists for sale, along with an exhibit from High and Main Productions about local theatre, and weather-permitting, an outdoor church service at 11 am.
