Lachute was a centre of agricultural celebration from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12 during the annual Lachute Fair. Presented by the Argenteuil Agricultural Society, the fair has been going strong since 1825. During the four days, events included the opening parade, cattle and horse shows, the antique tractor pull, homecraft and artisan exhibits, chuckwagon races, demolition derby, live music, and midway.
