The Vankleek Hill and District Nature Society welcomed Elise Laferrière as their guest speaker on Monday, March 9 at the VCI library.
Laferrière is a biologist and the Education Program Coordinator at Le Nichoir Wild Bird Conservation Centre in Hudson. Her role blends science education, outreach, and hands-on wild bird care.
She imparted her great knowledge about Bird Migration and also discussed the very important topic of how to make your windows visible to prevent bird collisions.
Le Nichoir will be hosting an open house at their bird rehabilitation centre in Hudson on Saturday, 2nd May from 10 am to 2 pm.
